Sledding season arrives: Local kids finally got to use their sleds after the area’s first snow of the season over New Year’s weekend. Aeris Hansen and Bennett Spiking were trying out their saucers on the popular sledding slope near the South Harrison Elementary School. About four inches of snow fell over the weekend accompanied by high winds and bone chilling temperatures.
