Bridge over troubled water: Rising water pushes against the floor of the old West Bethany Bridge over the East Fork of Big Creek following last week’s rains. The old bridge will be replaced by a new structure with construction starting this summer.
Work will get underway later this year on the construction of the Big Creek Bridge at the west edge of Bethany following a bid opening expected to take place on July 21.
