Bethany, MO: Anyone who has visited a local gas station lately has surely noticed a new trend. Large black boxes, not unlike arcade machines, sit in a corner of the station. But unlike arcade machines, these devices let you enter money and press a spin button for a chance to win money. This is no new concept; the slot machine has been around for years and allures people with the chance of winning big jackpot money. However, what is new is these machines are popping up all over Missouri, in restaurants, gas stations, bars and liquor stores.- By Caleb Osmon
