Daniel L. Heyle, a Bethany area farmer, and a Bethany teenager were seriously injured Thursday afternoon in an accident involving a car and tractor on Highway 136, a mile east of Bethany.
The Highway Patrol reported that Heyle, 71, was driving his John Deere tractor west on Highway 136 at about 3:30 p.m. when it was struck from behind by a 1992 Buick Regan driven by an unidentified 16-year-old. Both were taken by NTA ambulance to the Harrison County Community Hospital.
