Harrison County, MO: Harrison County FFA members are pictured on the front steps of the courthouse for the County Commission’s signing of the Thank A Farmer Week proclamation. Presiding Commissioner Jack Hodge and commissioners Jim Holcomb and Mike Smith presented the proclamation to Dan Chalfant, representing the FFA chapters and the sponsoring Harrison County Farm Bureau. Students in local grade schools have written brief essays thanking farmers that appear on page 7 of this week’s newspaper. The week is being observed through March 5th.
