It was a bittersweet night, with a mixture of fond memories and tears, when Ted Keck took up his baton for his last concert as the South Harrison band director on Tuesday night in a packed high school gymnasium.
The audience rose for a standing ovation as the Symphonic Band performed its final selection in another in a long line of memorable concerts during Mr. Keck’s 14 years as the band director.
