Jeremiah Searles, who was being held in the Harrison County for allegedly kidnapping Melissa Chapman, was charged on Friday with murdering Ms. Chapman whose body was found last Monday in Grant City.
Worth County authorities charged Searles with the Class A felony of murder in the second degree and abandonment of a corpse.
