Remembering her aunt: Cinda Carter rests on the bench dedicated to her late aunt Barbara Kemp Cooper, who owned and operated Sapphire’s Bar at the fair. The bench was made by Burrows’ metal shop and was commissioned by Cinda.

Bethany, MO: The girl’s softball team won their home opener against Brookfield 6-5 on Tuesday the 3th. Ambrey Hunter stepping to the plate hit a big home run scoring 3 runs and ensuring the victory.
