Ridgeway, MO: Ridgeway hosted the Harrison County Spelling Bee. The spelling bee winners of the surrounding local school got a chance to shoot out for top speller at Ridgeway.
Champion A went to Caleb Ingsson, North Harrison. Champion B was Stormy Cannon, Gilman City. Alternate 1 was Hilea from Gilman City and Alternate 2 was Aubree Ratliff from Cainsville.
The winners move on to the Northwest Missouri Regional Spelling Bee held in St. Joseph, Missouri. The top two spellers from each of 13 counties in northwest Missouri compete in the bee.
The winner of the regional bee advances to the Scripps National Spelling Bee held at a convention center in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.–Submitted photos
