The Ridgeway Elementary School handed out homemade cards to the veterans in attendance during a ceremony honoring the soldiers.
Dr. Ray Gwilliam was the guest speaker for the Ridgeway Veterans Day event. Dr. Gwilliam spoke about his time serving his country and honored other vets from the surrounding area.
Ridgeway, MO: Ridgeway R-V School District held “Celebrating and Remembering Our Veterans” in the gym on Nov. 8, 2024.
The event started with a presentation of colors by the American Legion post 216 and VFW post 2176. The American Legion post 216 and VFW post 2176 placed the flags on each side of the lectern, and the attending veterans stood at attention.
