Retired Bethany Postmaster Diane Gibson was killed in a head-on accident Thursday night on Highway 136, west of Bethany. Current Albany Postmaster Lesa Gard of Bethany, the driver of the other car involved in the collision, was seriously injured and was flown by Lifeflight medical helicopter to Truman Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo.
