Extension celebration: The large MU Extension sign greets visitors to the Harrison County Courthouse. Extension will be dedicated their new sign at its centennial on July 27.

Harrison County Extension Council members are inviting people of all ages to help celebrate 100 years of extension service in Harrison County on Saturday, July 27.
University Extension has been active in improving the lives of all Harrison County residents since its founding in 1919. Several leaders were involved in the early work of extension such as Cecil and Bina Davis and Paul and Icie Hiatt who as longtime 4-H leaders shaped the lives of generations of young people.
