US Army Staff Sergeant Rachel Tozier recently qualified for the USA Olympic Trap team. Tozier, a native of Pattonsburg, is set to compete in the 2024 Olympic Games being held in Paris this summer and will be the first woman from Missouri to compete in Olympic Trap.
Pattonsburg, MO: Pattonsburg native Staff Sergeant Rachel Tozier, of the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit, qualified for the 2024 Olympic Games during the USA Shooting Olympic Trials in March in Paris. Tozier grew up in Pattonsburg, where she first learned to shoot and found her love for target shooting early in her life.–By Brady Sunderland
