A trackhoe begins tearing down the historical Ridgeway Field House, which was home to hundreds of basketball games and school activities since the 1950s. The building had to be closed after an inspection found serious structural problems in the facility. The Field House will be replaced with a new building adjoining the school that will be used for gym classes and other school and community activities. The Bobcat home basketball games are now being played at Cainsville. The Field House was built around a boat house that was disassembled and brought to Ridgeway from Illinois by local residents.
