Cameron artist Cynthia Barber, right, checks out her painting which is now on display at the Bethany Public Library. Cynthia, a native of New Hampton, painted the pastoral scene titled âBig Bales at Dawnâ from a photograph she took in the area several years ago. She is pictured with Librarian Linda Sanders. âIt reminded me of a scene that I saw as a child,â said Mrs. Barber who spent time as a girl at her grandmotherâs home at New Hampton. The library recently acquired the painting to be put on display in the reading area.
