Northbound Interstate 35 will close overnight tomorrow for the placement of barriers. Crews from Widel, Inc., working with the Missouri Department of Transportation, will close the northbound lanes of I-35 at the bridge over Pole Cat Creek, south of Bethany, from 8 p.m. Thursday, May 12, through 9 a.m. Friday, May 13.
During the closure, drivers will be detoured off northbound I-35 at Exit 88 to Route 13, north to U.S. Route 136, to U.S. Route 69, to Spur 69 where they will continue east to Exit 93 where they will rejoin I-35.
This bridge is included in Gov. Mike Parson’s $351 million Focus on Bridges program, which will repair or replace 250 bridges across the state.
All work is weather-permitting, and schedules are subject to change.
