Cainsville, MO: Teresa VanGundy, left, and Marsha Hamilton look over some of the memorial bricks that have been placed at the entrance to the Cainsville Museum during an open house at the Fourth of July celebration. The museum is located in a former gasoline station at the entrance to the town. Laura Crofutt, bottom photo, was helping visitors as they looked over historical photographs and documents including maps of the old coal mine at Cainsville. The museum hopes to gain more space for larger exhibits following Jared Rardon’s donation of the former Nelson building to the community.–Republican-Clipper photos, Phil Conger
