The South Harrison R-2 School District expects to spend $9,187,835 during the 2016-17 school year under a budget approved Thursday night by the Board of Education.
Superintendent Dennis Eastin said in his budget message that capital projects along with revenue set aside for the Middle School will require the district to spend $84,965 of its balances.
