New shop on Square: Jill Slaughter and Clint Russell are the owners of the C & J Mercantile store that opened Saturday on the south side of the Bethany Square.
The previously empty storefronts on the Bethany Square continue to take on new life with the opening of the C & J Mercantile store.
The mercantile store quietly began business on Saturday morning on Main Street.
