Girls State: Four delegates were chosen to attend the Missouri Girls State program that took place at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg June 23 – 19. The candidates were, from left to right: Kierra Shelby, Kalyn Forck, Kooper Jennings and Milaynie May.
American Legion Auxiliary Post 216 of Bethany sent four delegates to Missouri Girls State 2019. The delegates from South Harrison was selected from the Junior class last spring Kalyn Forck, daughter of Chris and Kelly Forck, Maycee Kooper Jennings, daughter of Kelly Shea, Milaynie May, daughter of Colin Mau and Nikki Hendren, and Kierra Shelby, daughter of Jeff and Tanya Shelby.
