Listing in weekly report was incorrect

A listing in last week’s weekly report concerning Gregory Dee Blanton was incorrect. Because of a transcription error, the newspaper mistakenly reported that Blanton was charged with assault. The charge should have read “owner of motor vehicle without maintaining financial responsibility,” a misdemeanor. We regret the error.
