Customers wanting to grab a bucket of chicken for their New Year’s Day bowl game watch party were disappointed when they found that the KFC Restaurant and Taco Bell, Highway 136 East, had closed its doors over the weekend. City Hall personnel said the restaurant closed on New Year’s Eve. A sign on the door said the “location is closed permanently.” The manager’s telephone number was out of service.
