Bethany, MO: Kelly Eads, former resident of Bethany, has released a new book titled “Black Hearts and Painted Guns,” recounting his two tours in Iraq following the attacks on the World Trade Center. The book’s title comes from the helmet insignia patch of the 502nd, 101st Airborne Division, and the common practice of camouflaging their rifles.
