Johnson inducted to Basketball Hall of Fame

Bethany, MO: Radio personality honored: Stuart Johnson, left, longtime sports director of KAAN radio, was inducted into the Missouri Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame during a ceremony on Saturday in Springfield. Presenting the award was Gary Belcher, president of the MBCA. Johnson, a native of Dover, Kansas, is completing his 36th year of covering sports at KAAN. He has broadcast nearly 2,500 basketball games and 3,500 sport events during his career. He was nominated for the award by Hall of Fame Coach Don Edwards, a native of Eagleville. Kim Anderson, former Mizzou basketball player, received the Gary Filbert Lifetime Achievement Award at the gathering.–Submitted photo
