A weedy patch of prairie grass bobs in the breeze at the on ramp of I-35 and Highway 13, south of Bethany.

Harrison County, MO: You have surely noticed a strange sight if you have traveled down I-35 heading south towards Cameron lately. The entrance and exit ramps of Highway 13 are covered in an overgrowth of weeds—some as tall as four feet high. Exits 92 and 93 are not this way. While the grass is not always mowed down, it is always a uniform height, but exit 88 looks completely different.–By Caleb Osmon
