Bethany, MO: Bethany Fire Chief Jacob Denum assists Deb Weyers in using a fire extinguisher in a demonstration Sunday morning at the Hope Lutheran Church. Members of the congregation have been involved in preparing for emergencies ranging from fires to tornado drills. Denum set fires in a burn barrel and allowed each member of the church to extinguish the fire. The demonstration was followed by the church picnic.–Republican-Clipper photo
