A group of history enthusiasts has proposed establishing a historic district in Bethany that would showcase community landmarks.
Kathleen Mcmahon, a former Bethany resident now living in Kansas City, has long advocated a proposal to develop a walking tour of Bethany with several stops at points of interest in the community. City Administrator Jake Taylor relayed Mcmahon’s proposal to the Board of Aldermen on April 19.
