Home destroyed: A quick moving fire destroyed the home of the Dennis Robertson family in Gilman City on Saturday morning. Area residents are showing their generosity by contributing household goods and clothes for the family of four children who lost everything in the fire.
Firemen from three towns responded to a mutual aid call to fight a fire in a two-story house Saturday morning in Gilman City.
The fire started at about 11 a.m. in an attached garage at a residence at 224 2nd Street in Gilman City. Heavy winds spread the fire to the rest of the home and caused extensive damage.
