
Car show winner: Max Courter of Coffey shows off his 1971 blue Mustang that was selected as overall best in the show at the Harrison County Fall Festival car show on Saturday in Bethany. Max and his wife Joyce purchased the car several years ago. The classic car was originally owned by Carol Ray Underwood.

The autumn season began with a flourish over the weekend when Harrison County hosted festivals at Bethany and Eagleville and racing events at both ends of Bethany on Saturday night.
