A utility pole was pulled down by a truck on Thursday afternoon on Oakland Avenue near the entrance to Memorial Park. The accident caused a power outage for a wide area of Bethany.
Bethany, MO: A FedEx truck which made a wrong turn onto a narrow residential street pulled down a utility pole that resulted in a six-hour power blackout for some parts of Bethany on Thursday evening.
