
Bethany, MO: A Minnesota driver travelling at 130 miles an hour was fortunate to survive when his car rolled at the 92-mile exit of I-35 on April 21. A police officer was inspecting the remains of the car in a drainage ditch between I-35 and the outer road. The Highway Patrol was involved in a chase that began south of a construction zone on I-35 when the vehicle crashed. The driver, Christopher De’Jon Ellis, 22 of Monticello was incarcerated at the Harrison County Jail on $50,000 bond for resisting arrest and numerous traffic charges. He is scheduled to appear at a hearing on May 11 in the Associate Division of Harrison County Circuit Court.
