Bethany Edward Jones financial adviser Mike Rogers presents a $500 check to Aaron Baker, director of Bethany Parks of Recreation, to help in purchasing lights for this year’s Christmas in the Park. Rogers pointed out that this year’s pandemic has been a challenge for everyone. He said his staff wanted to bring a touch of normalcy for the Christmas season. “I’m sure we will be happy to have the year 2020 in the history books, but we don’t want to forget about Christmas.” Taking part in the presentation, from left to right, were Sandy Heitz, Joanna Bird, Seth Keethler and Rogers, from the Edward Jones staff, Baker, Seth Peters and Ben Schoning from the park staff. Rogers concluded presentation by saying: “From the very young to the most senior adults and everyone in between, the park just comes alive between Thanksgiving and Christmas. This year as we drive through and celebrate it in a social distance way we wanted to make the display a little bigger, brighter and better for everyone.”
