In New Hampton, nearly 200 happy hunters raced around New Hampton’s city park during the New Hampton Easter Egg Hunt hoping to grab one of the few Grand Prize golden eggs. Several businesses were on hand to pas out their prizes. Years ago, many businesses would make cardboard paper eggs and when found, kids would take them to the businesses in or around the town to redeem their winnings. Many families still keep the tradition alive by donating eggs to the hunt in memory of family or former businesses.
Hearing Care Partners also held a small Easter Egg free-for-all out at the HCP lot. Children raced around the grassy field to collect an assortment of candy, prizes, and other goodies as quickly as they could.
