
It wouldn’t be Dr. Seuss’s birthday without an appearance from his most famous creation The Cat and The Hat at the library. The cat and thing one were on hand to take pictures with the children.

Tom Strade watches thing one and thing two as they play with their new balloon animals. Strade put his balloon tying skills to the test as he made balloon dogs for the kids celebrating Dr. Seuss’s birthday in the library.

Upstairs, in the kids’ reading room, the kids could watch cartoon movies based on Dr. Seuss’s books. In the next room was a cookie decorating station that also seemed very popular among the guest. In the basement of the library high school girls operated a face-painting booth.
