
Donation to HCCH: The Harrison County Community Hospital Foundation recently donated a new steam table for the hospital’s dietary department, replacing a unit that was at least 40 years old. Pictured with the new equipment in the hospital kitchen are Gary Hatten, vice chair of the foundation; Nancy Salmon, the hospital’s director of dietary services; and Steve Long, foundation chair. The hospital kitchen serves an average of 3,800 meals each month to patients, visitors and hospital staff. The HCCH Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, raises funds to support the community hospital by donating equipment and funding nursing scholarships.
