Demolition underway for sewer plant: The Foley Company has begun site preparation work for the new Bethany wastewater treatment plant southwest of Bethany. The new plant will be built on the site of the old plant that was built in the 1970s. The contractor has already demolished most the old plant to get ready for the new construction. The City Council last week authorized the first $749,992 payment to Foley. The plant will be completed in the spring of 2018.
