Deer poaching investigation included illegal hunting in Harrison County area

A Greene County man’s court sentencings in December in Barton and Lawrence Counties are the most recent events in what is one of Missouri’s largest conservation cases involving the illegal taking of deer.
Conservation officials said David Berry Jr., of Brookline, Mo., was part of a poaching ring that operated in a wide area of Missouri including Harrison County.
