The Air National Guard was directing traffic into the Bethany Community Gym’s parking lot during the Missouri Department of Health’s mass vaccine clinic on Wednesday. Some 1,590 shots were administered during the two-day clinic involving local health care providers. 
Persons were lined up on the gym floor waiting to get their doses of vaccine in the Northwest Missouri regional clinic. Personnel from HCCH, the health department, the Cameron Regional Medical Center, NTA and other volunteers took part in the clinic.
About 350 residents will be coming back to the Bethany Community Gym on Friday to receive their second dose of the Pfizer vaccine for prevention of the worst effects of the COVID-19 virus.
