Heading for dry land: Cattle slosh through floodwater after last Wednesday’s deluge that sent Big Creek and other streams out of their banks. This scene was captured along Route W in northwest Bethany. The cattle appeared to be looking for dry land which was difficult to find on Thursday morning along Big Creek.
Harrison County emergency management officials are assessing damage from last week’s wind and rainstorm.
