The Bethany Christmas in the Park will be held this Saturday, Dec. 3, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the South Harrison Middle School.
The Bethany Kiwanis Club will also be holding their pancake supper to benefit their program to supply coats and warm clothing to the children of Harrison County. The Kiwanians will be serving pancakes and biscuits and gravy from 5 to 7 p.m. Tickets cost $5 per person to help raise money for coats and hats for local children in the area.
The Bethany Area Chamber of Commerce and the Bethany Parks and Recreation Department will sponsor Christmas in the Park.
There will be pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus at the school. Those attending will receive goodie bags with coupons and children are invited to decorate cookies.
Hayrides to the park to view the lights will depart from the middle school (weather permitting).
The 6th annual Holiday Home Tour in Bethany will take place Dec. 3 from 1-5 p.m. tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door, they can be purchased at BTC Bank, the high school office, Hodge Podge store, and Little Clara’s Garden.
The homes that are participating will be Nick and Heather Fitzgerald, 1510 Coleman Road; NCCC Construction Technology 2015-16 House, 1690 Daily Road, furnished by O’Neil’s Home Furnishing and decorated by Gina Woody of the Curiosity Shoppe; Eric and Kathy Sweat, 1722 Lookout Road; Wes and Rhonda Booth, 1808 Helen Road; Andrew and Shila Callaway, 32346 West State Hwy 13; Brennen and Leslie Price, 23431 East 330th street; and Brad and Vanessa Johnson, 22508 East 340th street.
