The Cainsville R-I Class of 2026 has an American flag flown in their honor at the US embassy in Kabul, Afghanistan. This was a gift from Marine veteran Mackenzie P. Thompson. Cainsville teacher, Abigail Thompson chose Samuel Vaughn III to keep the flag safe until graduation.
