Club spotlight: Kay Thompson of the Cainsville 20th Century Club throws out candy during the Independence Day parade in Cainsville on Saturday.

Touring the museum: Visitors line up to inspect the renovation work at the Cainsville Museum which was open during the Cainsville Fourth of July celebration. Exhibits will return to the museum as soon as the work has been completed. The museum, in a vintage gasoline station building, has displayed maps and pictures of the old Cainsville mine as well as other historical exhibits.
