Bethany’s streets will be filled again next Thursday, July 4, for the annual Independence Day parade, a tradition established several years ago by a group of World War II buddies.
The parade has grown in popularity ever year since the late Bill Hogan and his friends took a tour around town in Bill’s Army Jeep. The event now is known as the Bill and Liz Hogan Fourth of July Parade in honor of Bill and his wife who lived on Oakland Street, the starting point for the parade.
