School districts and cities have begun filing their ballots for the April 7 municipal election.
The city of Bethany will have a contested City Council election. Incumbent Eastward Councilman Charles Crabtree will be opposed by Terry Butch Osmon for re-election. Randy Brejnik will be unopposed for re-election in the Westward.
