The Bethany City Council reviewed funding options for the 39th Street extension at its meeting Tuesday night at City Hall.
Jan Hagler, who is staying on to assist the city in several projects, said current figures indicate that the cost of applying a concrete surface and storm sewers along the route should be approximately $800,000. The city has decided to go with 9 to 10 inches of concrete because of expected heavy truck traffic on the route.
