Bethany, MO: A Bethany man who was involved in a motorcycle accident in downtown Bethany on Thursday was arrested by police on a charge of driving while intoxicated as an aggravated offender.
According to a police report, Stanley Harold Nichols, 63, struck a curb in the 1500 Block of Main Street, near the library, and fell over onto a sidewalk. Nichols told Police Officer William Quigley that he was blinded by the sun causing him to lose control of his bike.
