Bethany, MO: The Bethany Public Library’s children’s reading room has a new festive appearance after a new picnic setting was added to the room. The furniture was donated by the Fitzgerald Family Foundation. Several children’s books were purchased with a grant from the Pilcrow Foundation, which assists children’s reading programs in rural libraries. The Friends of the Library, represented here by Teresa Pierce and Delsa Brooks contributed $200 in matching funds for the $400 grant.
