Bethany, MO: The Bethany Fire Department held a training exercise for some of its new recruits last week. The exercise took place on an empty road near a field on Wednesday, June 12. Pictured left, Brooke Peery and Fire Chief Jacob Denum practice with the water cannon on the truck while Johnathan Stephenson stands at the ready next to the truck. Peery learned the many controls for the truck, including how to direct water from the tanks and the pulling water directly from a hydrant.
