Plant to close: Bethany will suffer an economic blow when the ECI plant on the outer road of I-35 closes its door, forcing the layoff of about 100 employees.
Electronic Components International, formerly known as Fargo Assembly, plans to close its Bethany manufacturing plant within the next few weeks.
“There is a planned date for this,” said plant manager Jeremy VanMeter, but ECI has not made a public announcement about when layoffs will occur.
