A historic moment: This remarkable photograph, dating from 1939, shows the work in progress on the Bethany Post Office and the Harrison County Courthouse, which were both under construction at that time. This marks the 80th anniversary when both were completed. Notice the scaffolding on the side of the courthouse. Construction of the post office, foreground, was just in the beginning stages.
